Mr. Marx Cyrus Cruz – A multi-faceted industry professional with an extensive 21-year work experience in the restaurant, marketing, digital/social media, hotel, real estate, and consultancy business. He earned his degree in Sociology from University of Oregon and Oregon State University.
He worked his way up as a head of marketing for restaurant chains, hotels, culinary schools, real estate development, and resorts that target not just locals but also an expatriate and global market. He has worked with several top performing businesses including The Chateau 1771 Group and The Cravings Group.
He also served as a managing partner for a start-up marketing agency called Powercom Agency, successfully forming a 12-man team from the ground up and securing a total of 12 new accounts for the agency in just a year. Currently, he is the managing director of The Food Agency, a marketing consultancy company helping clients to either launch, sustain, or revive their businesses.
Ms.Tippi Ocampo – She is a fashion designer inducted into the Fashion Design Council of the Philippines (FDCP) year 2000. She served in the FDCP Board for three years. She was also a design consultant for various fashion brands under CITEM’s Manila F.A.M.E. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts major in Visual Communication from UP Diliman.
Tippi was a representative to various international fashion shows including the Fashionable Asia, a fashion show held in Doha and the Concours Internationale des Jeunes Createurs de Mode held in Paris. She launched her own retail lines called “Pret-a- party” and “Lounge Lizard” and custom designed bridal gowns and formal wear under her own name. She also wrote a book which had a spinoff in a form of a fashion exhibit called “Not By The Book: Fashioning Design by Tippi Ocampo”. Furthermore, she wrote a fashion column “The Tippi Point” for Metro magazine and fashion articles for Ava.ph.
She has designed capsule collections for Vito.com. Currently, Tippi custom-designs for clients, and creates content in collaboration with husband/photographer Mr. Ito Ocampo for her own website, Tippiocampo.com
Tippi has worked with several creative agencies such as JWT Manila, Ogilvy & Mather Manila, and BBDO. She also won numerous industry awards for advertising and was a finalist of the FDCP fashion design competition.
